Our Vision for the Future

Our vision is to provide Brampton with an attractive, inviting new place to go to meet friends, have some quiet time alone or to see a show or film without having to travel for miles. The theatre itself will still operate and we will continue to put on a mixture of serious drama, comedies and musicals throughout the year. And we hope it will attract other theatrical groups as well as performers such as bands, choirs or comedians.

The VisionGood Quality Cinema in a Calm Environment

The theatre will also be adapted for use as an arts cinema, with regular weekly film nights to bring affordable, good quality cinema to the village. Unlike a multiplex, we'll offer one film each evening with a reasonable start time and we'll be happy for you to take a glass of wine in to the cinema with you. In the holidays, we'll put on kids' films during the day and we might even put on special 'screamer' films where mums can bring babies without worrying about how much noise they make!

Coffee Bar with Free Wi-Fi

We want to convert the current bar and foyer areas into a fantastic new coffee bar with comfy sofas and free wi-fi. We'll have a state-of-the-art coffee machine for proper cappuccinos, lattes and mochas, and we'll have a full range of muffins and cakes on offer too. As well as the wi-fi, we'll set up a mini lending library and provide newspapers to make it a real home-from-home.

Access for All

We believe that the all-new Brampton Little Theatre will increase local access to the arts. It will appeal to all sectors of the community: young and old, male and female, able and disabled. It will become a social hub for people to meet and a quiet haven for people who want to curl up with a coffee and a good book. It will be a venue for all kinds of entertainment and an opportunity for artists young and old to perform on a real stage with footlights, dressing rooms and a curtain that swishes. It can provide so much for so many people. Please support our vision and help save our wonderful theatre.
